As soon as they stepped into the hotel, the general manager hurried over to welcome the two guests. Passing through the grand lobby, they gradually left its bustle behind and entered the elevator. Normally, this would have been a time when hotel staff took a break, but with the arrival of these distinguished figures, everyone was up and about, attending to their duties.

Han Qianyun and Han Qianyu were surrounded by a team of female bodyguards, and those nearby neither wanted nor dared to approach. Together, they made their way to the top floor.

Last night, the sisters had rented out the entire floor for a day, insisting that two rooms adjacent to the stairs be forcibly converted into restaurants by the hotel staff. Its status as a hotel spared it from further transformation; it was the highest-class establishment in Dream City where one could dine, though these rooms had been refashioned into grand dining halls.

Now the bodyguards stood motionless, their eyes fixed on the busy staff as they once again prepared the floor. In the large kitchen, all the bodyguards watched the chefs with unwavering attention. In the makeshift restaurant, three or four female bodyguards took out poison detectors and scrambling devices, inspecting every nook and cranny—even the cracks in the walls—for any hidden spaces. After nearly ten minutes, they nodded solemnly to the Han sisters.

Five minutes earlier, one of the bodyguards had brought Hua Tian here.

Hua Tian saw someone standing there—a beauty of enchanting grace and breathtaking allure. He thought to himself: Surely not, is she really Captain Han?

Han Qianyun noticed his arrival, sizing him up. He was not a handsome man, merely ordinary with a hint of plumpness, his face bearing traces of youthful resolve and masculinity, his figure suggesting honest, brash strength. She addressed him, “You are called Wild Slaughter, aren’t you?”

Hua Tian replied, “Yes. Are you Captain Han?”

She nodded. Seeing that all the main guests had arrived, she waited for them to settle in.

Then, she instructed the bodyguards to leave the room, ordering that shifts be changed every thirty minutes, each time with ten people: one by her door, two at the stairwell, and the rest patrolling the floor. Those off-duty could do as they pleased—so long as they didn’t disturb her. The adjacent room could be used for meals, rest, or playing on their phones, but they were to keep two large private suites available.

“Yes!” came the reply.

With that, the elder sister dragged her younger sibling inside, calling Hua Tian to follow. He glanced at the younger sister—a mischievous, eccentric soul, bold yet fearful of her elder sibling—and entered the room.

Inside, the space was vast, easily a hundred square meters, rivaling the size of his family’s courtyard. High-end furnishings abounded: air conditioning, television, ceiling fixtures—all the finest the hotel could offer. Now, at the center stood a grand round wooden dining table, and Hua Tian felt as though he were a criminal about to be judged. There were only seven people in the room.

Four female bodyguards stood at the corners, upright and alert. Suddenly, from behind, a gentle voice said, “Sit down. I’m Han Qianyun, and she’s Han Qianyu. If you’re not comfortable, you can wait a bit, or stand for a while. If the food is cold or not to your liking, just call the bodyguard outside. Change dishes as you wish—it’s no trouble.” Han Qianyun sat, eyeing Hua Tian, who remained rooted, lost in thought. Since the dishes hadn’t been served yet, she let him be.

Han Qianyu’s eyes sparkled as she exclaimed, “Wow, you really do have muscles! I thought you were fibbing. Now you can explain why you used to do fitness routines—and so well, too.”

Hua Tian recalled their first meeting and grinned, “Hehe, well, back then I thought I had muscles, but turns out they were just from the game. It was a bit embarrassing afterward.”

The dishes began arriving, one after another, filling the round table with a dazzling array: seafood, meat, vegetables, each corner of the table brimming with delicacies.

“Eat! I’m treating you, after all,” Han Qianyu declared, unconcerned with her sister or Hua Tian, immediately opening her mouth wide and grabbing food with her chopsticks.

Her sister gently stroked her head. “This isn’t home. Don’t be so unruly.”

Han Qianyu paused, her beautiful eyes wide as she stared at her sister, then glanced at Hua Tian, glaring fiercely.

“Oh, it’s fine—I’m just a bit stunned seeing so many wonderful dishes for the first time. Sorry!” Hua Tian said, picking up his chopsticks uncertainly, unsure what to try first.

Seeing his hesitation, Han Qianyu shifted her pleading gaze back to her sister.

“Eat! Don’t mind me,” Han Qianyun said.

And so, they ate and chatted for half an hour. Han Qianyun, feeling full, watched as Hua Tian feasted and her sister nibbled slowly.

Another half hour passed, and Han Qianyu’s appetite finally faded.

Now, only Hua Tian was still eating, his chewing accompanied by murmurs of “delicious.” After a few minutes, he finally stopped, noticing that the two sisters had not moved to serve themselves. Looking around, he saw only the bodyguards laughing quietly, and the Han sisters fixedly watching him. Embarrassed, he scratched his head—he was the only one eating, and the only man in the room.

“Are you still hungry? Do you want me to have more dishes prepared?”

The once-laden table was nearly empty, twenty platters cleaned of all food. Remarkable! She’d always thought her sister was a small eater, but he had outdone her, still acting as if he could eat another tableful.

“Oh, no, no need!” Hua Tian replied.

“All right, eat as much as you like. When you’re done, just tell the people outside. My sister and I will go to our room now. Come by later—I want to discuss the team with you.”

“Okay, got it.”

He left and asked the bodyguards for a bit more rice and dishes.

...

Hua Tian ate for another hour, finally polishing off both the original and additional dishes. Patting his full stomach, he sat for a while, recalling something.

An hour ago, Captain Han had mentioned something—she’d invited him to her room. Was it really that exciting? No, surely not... He must be mistaken. Well, whatever it was, he’d find out soon enough.

After finishing his meal, Hua Tian left the ‘restaurant,’ wandering around and getting a bit lost. Embarrassed, he realized he hadn’t notified the bodyguards at the door.

When he finally found his way, the bodyguards saw him leave and called in the staff to clean up.

“Hello, Miss Han said you might get lost, so she instructed me to take you to her room,” said a female bodyguard, approaching him.

“Oh, thank you,” he replied, recognizing her as one of the four lady bodyguards from the ‘restaurant’ earlier.
