Reckless!

Skull Battle Banner!

Divine Descent!

(All three skills activated—commonly known as God Mode!)

After charging, 20 rage points are gained! Battle Roar grants 20 rage points! Berserk Fury grants 10 rage points and three Furious Slashes! Bloodthirst grants 15 rage, Shield Bash grants 15 rage! At the start, Morning Wind instantly accumulates 80 rage points, unleashing Thunder Strike, Whirlwind Slash, Cleaving Blow, and Shockwave all at once. When rage is depleted, the off-hand shield is swapped for a one-handed sword, and Furious Slash is struck.

Critical hit chance rises; Morning Wind’s rapid assault continuously triggers Furious Slash opportunities, launching consecutive attacks. With Morning Wind’s explosive speed, more than 50,000 damage is dealt in just a few seconds. As Eternal Song casts Ice Ring to freeze another wave of mobs, Morning Wind has already felled three elite monsters, and the other two are also controlled.

“Finish off the rest!” The Troll Guardian charges in atop an elephant to attack Morning Wind, but Morning Wind merely uses Furious Slash to draw aggro. After killing three mobs, he immediately leaps heroically to the other wave, causing area bombardment damage. Main weapon with Bloodthirst, off-hand weapon with Shield Bash, and upon gaining rage, instantly unleashes Whirlwind Slash and Cleaving Blow, both area attack skills.

Furious Slash!

One Furious Slash, two criticals, over ten thousand damage! If this were an arena against players, it would be instant annihilation. This is the Berserker’s God Mode—ultimate skills unleashed, everyone must steer clear!

Gale Strike!

Free Gale Strike does not trigger global cooldown; after Furious Slash, Morning Wind immediately follows up with Gale Strike, knocking down an elite monster, then turns to attack another. With the Rage Aura, critical hit is stacked to 20%; after Reckless, it surges to 30%. Combined with Morning Wind’s attack speed, criticals trigger Furious Slash opportunities rapidly. Once God Mode is activated, Morning Wind slashes through all obstacles.

Ten seconds!

After activating God Mode, Morning Wind clears all elite monsters five levels above himself in only ten seconds. This kind of violent output is rare worldwide. Warriors rely heavily on gear, especially weapons; with strong equipment, violent output is all about technique.

After the mobs are dead, Morning Wind has no intention of switching to a shield to tank the boss. He merely changes from Berserker Stance to Defensive Stance, gaining a 50% defense boost from Iron Body, and Defensive Stance grants 25% damage reduction. Now only the boss remains. Morning Wind goes straight for Giant Strike, dealing over a thousand damage, and for the next six seconds, attacks ignoring 100% defense.

Bloodthirst!

Gale Strike!

Furious Slash!

...

Morning Wind doesn’t bother dodging, unwilling to waste attack time, and tanks the elephant’s assault head-on. After Giant Strike, his damage is even higher—Bloodthirst breaks 2,000, three free Gale Strikes total over 4,000, Furious Slash hits over ten thousand. The frenzied output is ferocious; Morning Wind moves like lightning, applies Devastating Strike to reduce the boss’s defense, then continues the bombardment.

Rage Recovery!

When his health drops, Morning Wind doesn’t bother switching to a shield for a breather, nor does he let the healer rest; instead, he activates Rage Recovery to temporarily restore his health and continues with Furious Slash! Divine Descent lasts twenty seconds, and he won’t let this attack window go to waste, especially since recovery skills are available.

Blood Strike!

Without the Blood Dragon Ring set or Magic Ring, there’s no lifesteal, so Morning Wind relies on Blood Strike to temporarily restore health and keep the assault going. Furious Slash is immediately followed by free Gale Strike, used up before the next Bloodthirst to avoid waste.

One Furious Slash breaks ten thousand damage, stunning everyone. Such a violent Berserker tank guarantees aggro. Morning Wind’s defense is terrifying—even without a shield, he withstands attacks and bursts forward, truly monstrous.

“You’re supposed to be a tank, not DPS! Don’t push your luck if you can’t take it…” Sunset Glow was furious, watching Morning Wind disregard his tank role and attack wildly. She felt Morning Wind had become a DPS instead.

“You wouldn’t understand the world of tanks!” Morning Wind ignored Sunset Glow, retorting as he continued his explosive assault.

In ten seconds, the Troll Guardian’s health dropped by 15%! Even with a five-level difference, Morning Wind’s burst is freakish, a complete overpowering attack. Once his health truly couldn’t hold, Morning Wind finally swapped to a shield to withstand the elephant’s assault and the troll boss atop it.

Block!

Dodge!

Block!

Morning Wind quickly parries with his shield, dodges attacks, and only uses skills when he finds an opening. This boss uses a spear, and the elephant can charge and swipe with its trunk—multiple attack methods. Morning Wind can only keep blocking and dodging. In the shadows, Jumper and Eternal Song witnessed Morning Wind’s explosive power; once he started tanking the boss, they began their own attacks.

Sunset Glow, silenced by Morning Wind’s retort, truly didn’t understand Morning Wind’s tanking world. How could a tank disregard damage reduction and take the boss’s burst head-on? Not only she, but even Eternal Song and the others couldn’t fathom how Morning Wind could unleash such a burst.

Watching Morning Wind continually block and dodge the boss’s attacks while rarely striking back, they realized he’d been building aggro earlier. With the boss’s numerous attack patterns, it’s difficult to defend and attack simultaneously; Morning Wind could only focus on defense to ease the healer’s burden. Thanks to his earlier explosive burst, aggro was firmly secured—others would need a long time to surpass him, so for now, Morning Wind needn’t worry about OT.

(OT: World of Warcraft term—when DPS or healing generates total aggro exceeding 120% of the tank’s aggro.)

Seeing Blood Strike’s cooldown approaching, Morning Wind uses Shield Bash to draw rage, switches to a one-handed sword, follows Bloodthirst with Gale Strike and Heroic Strike, consuming all rage.

Furious Slash!

Blood Strike!

After the burst, Morning Wind immediately uses Blood Strike to restore health, then switches back to the shield to continue tanking the boss. The boss has many skills—not highly damaging individually, but very frequent, accumulating to more healing required than Sunset Glow’s usual. Morning Wind must block and dodge swiftly. With the boss’s basic attacks coming from the troll’s spear and the elephant’s trunk, it’s like facing two attackers at once. Morning Wind must slow his own attacks, else he would take too much damage.

Relatively speaking, the Troll Guardian boss isn’t overly difficult; it mainly tests the tank’s coordination between damage reduction and output pacing, as well as synergy with the healer. Throughout, Morning Wind handled the Troll Guardian with little pressure. When burst skills’ cooldown ended, he reactivated God Mode and promptly toppled the boss.

“This tank is ferocious!” Both Behind the Shadows and Jumper had seen many tanks in their squads—even professional tanks weren’t as formidable as Morning Wind. Now, Morning Wind isn’t just tough—he’s outright savage, daring to tank the boss’s burst head-on. They began to wonder if Berserkers became so powerful after acquiring Shield Armor talents. What they didn’t know was that Morning Wind had Iron Body, granting him extra defense.

Ferocious! Morning Wind truly is ferocious. He’s played Berserker for two years, and as a killer Berserker, no one matches his brutality! As for tanking, he had some experience, though not enough; if he hadn’t recently crammed tank knowledge, he’d be like other tanks, only able to tank bosses in the usual way.

Tanks are always more popular than DPS! To get top-tier gear, a strong tank is essential, so Morning Wind decided to first hone himself into a powerful tank, then seek better equipment. Only then can Blood Dragon stay at the forefront of the game, outpacing others in explosive output.

The second boss, Troll Guardian, mostly dropped materials, just one piece of leather gloves, which Morning Wind didn’t take—they weren’t suitable for him or Shapeshifter’s clone.

“Be careful inside; there will be troll thieves and hunters ambushing!” Eternal Song cautioned as Morning Wind rested. With their current progress, they should be able to complete the instance, though claiming the world’s first kill for the level 25–30 dungeon was uncertain, since it was a global competition.

Furious Slash!

When the Troll Hunter appeared, Morning Wind immediately activated Charge and Berserk Fury. Upon closing in, he used Bloodthirst and Furious Slash to instantly kill a troll hunter, then Thunder Strike to expose nearby thieves, following up with Whirlwind Slash. Morning Wind aggroed more than ten hunters and thieves at once, seemingly unafraid of being surrounded.

Intimidating Roar!

By casting fear skills, he sent some elite monsters fleeing, then used Shockwave to control another batch. When a critical hit triggered, Furious Slash was employed; free Gale Strike was unleashed instantly, and by the time others caught up, Morning Wind had already killed half the mobs. Any other tank would likely die if they charged ahead without teammates, but Morning Wind’s control skills and explosive power made facing ten-plus monsters at once no problem.

In the Brazil region, another team was also tackling the level 25–30 dungeon, with their own race advancement quests. The leader was the Brazilian human princess. Their progress had already reached the final boss; barring surprises, clearing the dungeon should be no problem.

“I wonder what extra rewards the world’s first kill will bring!” The human Retribution Paladin felt confident they’d take down the boss. They had already run through it once, and barring accidents, this boss was doomed!

“Ha! No matter what drops, claiming world first means announcing to the world that Brazil is the top e-sports kingdom—not Japan or Korea!” The human princess mage was most interested in the honor of world first, so that other players would never underestimate Brazil. Once they reached the larger map, their regional advantage would grow even greater.

“Until the end, it’s hard to say who will get the first kill! Last time, the first heroic dungeon world first was claimed by players from China, and I heard they got a rare epic weapon.” The Amazon squad’s pro player and chief tank, Forest Warrior, didn’t underestimate the Chinese players. He’d recently noticed a fierce player from China challenging ten guilds at once.

“China’s Gold Farmers? They should be grinding coins to sell to us once the big map launches, right? That kind of cheap labor is unique to them.” The human Holy Paladin tossed a heal to Forest Warrior, then scoffed. Foreign players rarely farm coins for sale; they value the enjoyment of the game more. Many Chinese companies hire swarms of cheap laborers to farm coins en masse and sell them. In truth, only some coin-farming groups do this in China—not all Chinese players—but to foreign players, the Chinese region is synonymous with gold farming.
