Chapter 125: Surrendering Herself
The individual primordial spirit quickly located the array, lunging into it and merging with the formation. Although half of the spirit was rejected by the array's defenses, as long as a single thread remained, it would grow back within a century. This was the terrifying essence of the "Deity-Plundering Art": infinite division, infinite possession, leading to an endless cycle of immortality.
Through his mental connection with the spirit, Ge Qian realized this array covered dozens of miles underground, its power echoing in perfect resonance; slaying a Nascent Transformation stage cultivator would be effortless. Ge Qian gasped, realizing that had he blundered in, he would surely have been annihilated, leaving no trace behind.
With this task complete, Ge Qian did not linger. He stepped onto his flying sword and tore through the sky. With this matter resolved, he felt he had secured a path of retreat for himself and his friends. Ge Qian always sensed that a massive conspiracy was unfolding across the Xuanwu Continent and that a cataclysmic war was inevitable. If his own strength proved insufficient when that day arrived, his only option would be to flee to another continent to recover and cultivate until he could plan his next move.
Flying out of the Desolate Mountain Range brought him into the territory of the Heavenly Confucian Sect. Once he reached Heavenly Confucian City, he could utilize the teleportation array to reach Sanlong City and check on the status of Bai Ruyu and the others. If he stayed away too long, it was uncertain whether Qian Huixian might pose a threat to them.
He flew cautiously, eventually passing a mountain thousands of feet high. The entire peak remained emerald green year-round, as if caught in a perpetual spring, with a breathtaking landscape. Although the spiritual energy in the mountains was not particularly dense, it was passable. Ge Qian breathed it in greedily to replenish his own reserves.
Suddenly, an irresistible suction force emanated from a mountain ravine, wrapping around Ge Qian and dragging him down into the depths. Ge Qian felt utterly helpless, unable to muster even the strength to struggle. He thought to himself, "It’s over. This is a Nascent Transformation stage cultivator; I fear I am in grave danger."
Indeed, inside a temporarily excavated cave dwelling within the ravine sat a cultivator in the Nascent Transformation stage. Yet, the sight of her caused Ge Qian’s heart to flutter; he wondered how such an exquisite beauty could exist in this world. The woman appeared to be in her prime, possessing skin like snow and bones of jade. Her stature was tall and proportionate, her lips red, her teeth white, and her eyes like stars. With her towering bosom and slender waist, one glance was enough to make a man lose himself. Dressed in clothes as white as snow, she looked like a celestial being descended to earth. She was a woman of such devastating beauty that any words used to describe her seemed to pale in comparison.
However, Ge Qian could tell she had been poisoned. She was currently circulating her energy to suppress it, her delicate body trembling slightly, beads of sweat glistening on her forehead. While Ge Qian was captivated by her beauty, he knew the difference between life and death; the person before him was a Nascent Transformation monster, someone he could not afford to provoke.
He immediately said respectfully, "I am unaware of why you have summoned me, Senior, but if there is anything I can do to serve you, I will certainly give it my all."
Sweet talk had always been Ge Qian’s method for confusing his opponents.
The woman looked at Ge Qian, her expression shifting uncertainly. Finally, as if reaching a decision, her eyes reddened and tears welled up. "Brother Huiyuan, I have wronged you. I had no other choice; I did not want you to be harmed."
With that, she stopped suppressing the poison within her. It erupted violently, and her complexion instantly flushed with a seductive, rosy hue. Ge Qian felt the "Lust Sword" within his Six Desires Sword Qi trembling with excitement. What was happening?
Before he could fathom it, the woman lunged at him. Her clothes shattered into countless fragments that danced through the air, and with a single grasp of her hand, she tore Ge Qian’s clothes away as well. Left completely naked, Ge Qian was momentarily bewildered. His pale-gold, well-defined muscles rippled like a dragon or a serpent, veins bulging with infinite power.
The woman tackled him. Ge Qian was gripped by panic, but just as he opened his mouth to speak, it was sealed by her fragrant lips. Her subtle scent, her soft, boneless body, and her ethereal beauty—it was an intoxicating seduction that no man could resist.
Instantly, Ge Qian’s desires were ignited. He rolled over, pinning the woman beneath him, exploring her full bosom with one hand while stroking her back with the other. The woman gripped his rising manhood and guided it into her body, then wrapped her arms tightly around his back, her nails digging into his flesh. With a moan of ecstasy, the battle began.
The poison in the woman’s body spread into Ge Qian’s, threatening to ravage him and turn him into a shriveled corpse. But the Lust Sword Qi formed a vortex, devouring all the poison and strengthening itself.
Time seemed to stand still. Three hours later, the woman’s poison had been entirely absorbed by Ge Qian.
The woman suddenly regained her senses. Seeing herself naked and entwined with a Foundation Establishment cultivator, and noticing the spots of blood on her legs, a mixture of shame and fury caused her to cough up a mouthful of blood. She quickly rose, retrieved a pale red garment from her storage pouch, and dressed herself. Ge Qian hurriedly did the same.
The woman sobbed violently, her face drenched in tears. Seeing the lowly man who had taken her first time, she felt nothing but extreme disgust. A glint of murder flashed in her eyes as her sharp fingernails swiped toward Ge Qian’s throat.
Ge Qian did not dodge. He knew that before such a woman, he possessed no power to resist. If his interactions with others were merely karma, then this was a predestined bond. Fate is a mysterious thing; even if you cross paths over many lifetimes, if you cannot be together, it is a bond without fruition. To have two strangers brought together by love and hate, to experience the intimacy of husband and wife—that is a true bond of fate.
Ge Qian smiled slightly and said, "That we can be together is a fate cultivated over many lifetimes. Perhaps in a past life, we were already husband and wife!"
The woman was struck as if by lightning. She stopped her fingers an inch from Ge Qian’s throat. Her eyes shifted constantly. She thought to herself, "He is my first man. Even if I don’t kill him, the poison will kill him eventually. He is destined to die; I might as well let him perish on his own."
She withdrew her hand and said, "I hope you forget this ever happened. Leave."
Ge Qian knew he had to go. He turned to leave, a wave of bitterness washing over him. His virginity was gone, and he realized he had fallen for this woman. He turned back and asked, "May I ask your name?"
The woman said coldly, "You are not worthy of knowing my name. Leave at once, or I will change my mind and kill you myself."
Ge Qian let out a long howl, venting the anger in his heart, silently swearing that he would one day show her what he, Ge Qian, could achieve. With that thought, he cast a spell, and a violent, furious whirlwind rose up, enveloping him as he broke through the air. He left behind a defiant cry: "One day, I will marry you! You are my first woman, and you always will be!"
The woman heard him and gave a bitter smile. "You won't even survive today, yet you speak such wild words. In this world, only my senior brother is worthy of me."
Just then, a streak of light halted in the sky and dove into the cave. It revealed a tall, handsome young man radiating an air of nobility. His brow was etched with an imposing aura, marking him clearly as a scion of power. Seeing the woman, he ran over excitedly and pulled her into his embrace. "Guo Xiaojing, you silly girl, why did you run off here alone? You made me search so hard; I was so worried! I am so happy to see you are safe."
