Chapter 14

Wolber immediately looked up and glared toward the trees—the edge of the Sernerhan Grasslands, where it connected with the Hilal Plains, occupied by the Golden Lion tribe. At that moment, a golden lion with a full mane lounged leisurely among the branches of a giant tree—this was Berlman, Wolber’s mortal enemy.
Neither Su You, perched on the back of the gray wolf Wolber, nor the nearby half-orc warrior Salvador, knew that these two top-tier beast warriors, standing at the apex of the 12768 dimension’s biological chain, were among the most dangerous S-class hunting targets in this dimension.
As formidable warriors of the advanced beast realm designated 12768, both Wolber and Berlman clearly understood that if they wished to preserve their lives and freedom, their foremost duty during the invasion of their dimension by outsiders from other realms was to eliminate these intruders.
This was not only for their own freedom and survival but also to protect their homeland.
Wolber and Berlman patrolled the Sernerhan Grasslands and Hilal Plains to drive away and defeat those damned invaders.
What Berlman hadn’t expected was that Wolber, of the gray wolf clan, would brazenly appear at the border between Sernerhan and Hilal carrying such a young cub on his back.
The cold, proud golden lion watched the scene warily, pondering if this could be some kind of trap.
The small cub on the gray wolf’s back had been fascinated by the new “little animal,” but suddenly, a rumbling sound came inexplicably from its belly.
Around the little one, Wolber and Berlman remained locked in a tense standoff, while the half-orc Salvador struggled greatly to reach his revered “little lord.”
Among all present, only Su You’s system 001 noticed that the once-enthusiastic cub puckered its lips and rubbed its small belly with its tiny hands.
The cub twisted its head in distress before quietly saying to the air, “...System, YouYou’s tummy is hungry again.”
System 001: [...]
Hearing Su You’s plaintive words, the usually gentle system couldn’t help but grow anxious.
After all, this was the second time Su You had declared hunger, and in the interval between these two calls for food, the little cub had eaten nothing.
System 001 could not determine how Su You had maintained life signs while trapped in the confined dimensional space, but it knew that without replenishing Su You’s energy source, the cub’s life might soon come to an end.

It wanted to help Su You, but unfortunately, just as in the initial dimensional space, it was utterly powerless regarding Su You’s food needs.
The little one on Wolber’s back probably sensed that the system couldn’t soothe its grumbling belly. After pouting, it earnestly told the system, “System, it’s okay, YouYou’s not hungry anymore!”

In the virtual broadcast room of the main universe,
Makamaka cautiously glanced back at the audience section—poor spectators in the broadcast orb were nearly drowning in teal tears streaming from their spiritual forms!
“My baby, my precious baby...!”
“Damn system 001! Isn’t it a supreme-level system? Can’t even feed baby YouYou properly?!”
“I can’t stand this anymore! Does anyone know the exact coordinates of dimension 12768? I’m going to air-drop supplies for baby YouYou right now!”
“Air-drop supplies +1!”
These tearful spiritual spectators had just moments ago mocked the viewers in the diode subspace 001 for being easily fooled, but now they had completely surrendered to Su You’s charm.
Though they wished to spend their own resources to support Su You, secondary dimensions like 12768 were not so easily accessible to main universe viewers.
At this moment, these spiritual spectators could only watch Su You’s live broadcast through the virtual orb, eyes brimming with tears.

Within dimension 12768,
The gray wolf Wolber and golden lion Berlman had been locked in a cold standoff only moments before when Su You’s plaintive voice reached the ears of the two high-level beast warriors.
Berlman, just descended from the giant tree, was so astonished by the cub’s voice that he let out a fresh roar—

He looked at the gray wolf with suspicious eyes and asked, “Wolber, what’s going on? How can I understand the language this cub is speaking?”
Wolber, seeing Berlman’s reaction, rolled his eyes helplessly. “Don’t ask me. I want to know why too.”
Dimension 12768 was a highly closed advanced beast realm. They rejected external invaders and rarely communicated with the outside world.
Their advanced beast race’s language system was completely distinct from other humanoid life forms—normally, unless learned through a system, they could not understand humanoid languages.
Yet both Berlman and Wolber were certain they had never studied the language the cub was using.
A brief wave of doubt passed between the two high-level warriors, but the next moment, the cub voiced a new question—
“Gulu, it smells so good...”
Hungry and a little downcast, the cub rubbed its belly sadly. Suddenly, Su You sensed an unfamiliar, delightful fragrance wafting into his nose.
As the scent drifted past his nostrils, his stomach rumbled again.
The small cub, sitting atop the gray wolf, looked at the furry gray wolf and then the newly appeared golden lion, confusion spreading across his face.
“...Lili, why do you and the golden fluffy one smell so nice?”
Saying this, the little cub seemed a bit embarrassed—such a lovely scent made him want to hug Lili and nibble on him!
At that very moment, these two S-class rated high-level beast warriors of dimension 12768 both felt a terrifying threat simultaneously...!
