Chapter 115: Heavenly Thunder and Earthly Fire!

With his body restrained, Zhuang Muqing let out a soft whimper, not pulling away but instead leaning forward even more, her arms tightly wrapped around Ye Tianci’s neck. Ye Tianci wanted to push her away but realized his true energy was nearly depleted, leaving him weak and limp. Amid the misty steam filling the room, the two naked figures embraced each other tightly, like two magnets firmly attached, impossible to separate. Under such circumstances, even the most upright gentleman would lose control, and the most refined lady would find it hard to restrain herself. A spark ignited into a raging blaze! Thunder from the heavens, fire from the earth! Passionate! Entwined! After more than half an hour, Ye Tianci and Zhuang Muqing emerged side by side from the bath. Their clothes were intact, but the flush on Zhuang Muqing’s cheeks had yet to fade completely. She pinched Ye Tianci’s thigh sharply. “Ouch!” Ye Tianci grimaced in pain. “Senior Sister, why are you pinching me?” he complained. Zhuang Muqing shot him a playful, blushing glare. “Pinching you is the mildest punishment!” Her bright eyes sparkled with myriad emotions. “Senior Sister, it’s not my fault. You threw yourself into my arms—I was just trying to hold you up,” Ye Tianci explained with a hint of grievance. “You’ve eaten and drunk your fill, and now you blame me?” Zhuang Muqing raised a slender brow. “But Senior Sister, it seems you were the one who ate and drank plenty,” he retorted. “You dare say that?” She pinched him again, her face reddening further. Ye Tianci had no choice but to yield to her gentle tyranny and apologized sincerely. “You brat, since you were trying to save me, I won’t make things difficult for you.” “But what happened today must never be spoken of to anyone, or else…” She made a cutting gesture toward Ye Tianci’s most sensitive area. Instinctively, he squeezed his legs together and quickly promised, “Senior Sister, don’t worry, some things are better left buried inside me.” Only then was Zhuang Muqing satisfied and led the way downstairs. Upon reaching the ground floor, several people waiting in the parlor immediately stood to greet them.

Yuan Zhonghuang, siblings Tang Ying and Tang Qiong, the father and son He Mingshen from the He family, Xiao Qingmei of the Xiao family from Demon City, and her attendant Madame Bai all stepped forward. They looked at Ye Tianci and Zhuang Muqing with hesitant expressions, as if wanting to speak but holding back. Ye Tianci smiled and introduced Zhuang Muqing: “Zhuang Muqing is my senior fellow apprentice. We grew up together, and she knows all my secrets.” “She is also from Tianmen, one of our own,” Ye Tianci emphasized. Upon hearing this, the group relaxed and saluted in unison: “Greetings, Sect Master!” “No need for formalities,” Ye Tianci replied with a slight smile, turning to He Mingshen and his son, as well as Xiao Qingmei. “The He family from Jisheng and the Xiao family from Demon City are among the Eight Generals of Tianmen. Seeing you come bearing the Tianmen banner gives me great comfort.” He Mingshen responded, “We just spoke at length with General Tang and Mr. Yuan. Congratulations on inheriting the position of Sect Master!” Xiao Qingmei smiled warmly, “I didn’t expect our new Sect Master to be so young and capable. I truly believe Tianmen will once again shine with its former glory!” “Indeed,” Ye Tianci nodded. “Out of the Eight Generals of Tianmen, only your two families have arrived, along with the Tang family—just three in total.” “I wonder what happened to the other five families—whether they have fallen or otherwise.” He Mingshen said, “Sect Master, you may not know that the Eight Generals of Tianmen are spread across the eight directions of Great Xia. The two families in the south and southeast were wiped out by the Witchfire Cult years ago!” “The two families in the western and northwestern borders have been missing for ten years!” “Our He family is based in the northeast, the Xiao family in the east, and the northern family is the Han family of Yanjing. I’ve heard…” He faltered. “Speak plainly,” Ye Tianci urged. He Mingshen’s voice grew grim: “The Han family of Yanjing is aware that the Tang family has raised the Tianmen banner, but they turn a deaf ear and offer no support, sending forces instead to Miao Territory.” “I’ve heard the Han family has major projects there.” Xiao Qingmei quickly added, “Sect Master, the Xiao family is also aware of the Han family’s projects in Miao Territory.” “Tianmen has historically been at odds with Miao Territory. Both the first Sect Master and the late Ghost Hand Master decreed that no one from Tianmen may enter Miao Territory without permission.” “I fear the Han family of Yanjing is involved with forces within Miao Territory.” Ye Tianci’s eyes darkened as he nodded in understanding. “Han family of Yanjing, I hope you do not betray your original intentions or commit wrongs, lest I be forced to cleanse the sect!” he whispered quietly. Turning to Yuan Zhonghuang, Ye Tianci instructed, “The He family and Miss Xiao have traveled far. Arrange for them to rest at Huichun Sanatorium.” “Host them to a proper banquet tonight.” “Thank you, Sect Master!” He Mingshen and Xiao Qingmei clasped their fists in gratitude and followed Yuan Zhonghuang away. Zhuang Muqing spoke up, “Junior Junior Brother, leave the leader of the Zhenwu Hall, Duan Peng, to me!” “I must find him, avenge the wrongs, and pry Auntie’s message from his lips!” Since descending the mountain, Zhuang Muqing had never suffered a loss—except with Duan Peng, whom she hated deeply. “Then I entrust you with this, Senior Sister. Be careful; Duan Peng is definitely part of the Witchfire Cult and is ruthless,” Ye Tianci warned. Zhuang Muqing patted his shoulder playfully, “You do care about your Senior Sister, huh?” “Don’t worry. I’ve been burned once and won’t be burned twice.” Ye Tianci’s lips curled mischievously, “Actually, if I were by your side, getting burned a second time wouldn’t be so bad—I could save you again.” A blush crept over Zhuang Muqing’s pretty face as a trace of flirtation appeared in her eyes. “You brat!” “Ye Tianci! Ye Tianci!” Suddenly, a woman’s voice called from outside the door. Ye Tianci and Zhuang Muqing moved to the entrance just as Shen Ying hurried in and collided with Ye Tianci. “Ouch!” Seeing it was Ye Tianci who bumped into her, Shen Ying pouted coquettishly, swaying into his arms. Out of courtesy, Ye Tianci caught her arm. “Are you alright?” “I’m fine,” she smiled softly, brushing hair behind her ear. “Did you call me just now?” Ye Tianci asked. Shen Ying paused, then said casually, “When I arrived at the villa, I went to the side courtyard. I heard something big happened in the banquet hall but couldn’t find you.” “What did you want with me?” Ye Tianci interrupted. Shen Ying frowned slightly and pouted, “I wanted to sincerely apologize to you.” “No need,” Ye Tianci replied coldly. “Hey!” Shen Ying stamped her foot, acting spoiled. “I’m still a girl, and my father is Shen Wanshan. Can’t you just humor me?” Ye Tianci’s lips lifted slightly. “Miss Shen, we merely know each other, not relatives or close friends. Why would I humor you?” “Besides, I’ve made it clear: you and I live in different worlds. Please keep your distance.” “You!” Shen Ying’s face flushed with anger. Watching them, Zhuang Muqing smiled. “Junior Junior Brother, who is this?” “A wealthy heiress,” Ye Tianci said coolly. Shen Ying looked at Zhuang Muqing haughtily. “Who I am is none of your business.” Zhuang Muqing smiled knowingly, lips curling. “I’m Zhuang Muqing, Ye Tianci’s senior sister. Who he marries is not my concern, but any woman I dislike, he definitely won’t marry!”
